Wuxi City (无锡市) is located in southern Jiangsu Province, China. This historic and cultural city is located in the southern part of the Yangtze River Delta and borders Taihu Lake (太湖).
The recorded history can be traced back to the late Shang Dynasty, a Chinese royal dynasty that ruled during the second millennium BC, but the actual historic development has exceeded 3,000 years.
